I was the lead User Experience Designer on the project. The overall project spanned over 3 years and 3 different contractors. I retained my position during those changes which allowed me to direct the approach and design of the International Trade Administration's digital presence.
I Conducted numerous stakeholder workshops with the 3 primary departments, performed moderated and unmoderated user tests, iteratively designed wireframes and prototypes to get to the final designs. Through all the different phases (Research, Definition, Design, Development) I was constantly in communication and worked collaboratively with the different departments to meet their needs with the new system.
I developed and designed multiple templates that allowed for maximum flexibility for the department to use. Throughout the 3+ years I was able to provide assistance with a number of different initiatives that involved an intranet, an event management system, powerpoint templates used across the organization, email design, graphic design work and motion design work.
This project allowed me to have enough autonomy that I could experiment with different approaches to graphic design, ui design, ux design and art direction.
